Oh, and you had asked if I have a tumblr account. I do, but it isn't that active: screwpinecaprice.tumblr.com
Aaahwhoops! Sorry didn't get back at your comments. My inbox is so cluttered, sometimes I wouldn't be able to read a few messages. But I've decided to respond to you here instead of replying directly to those.

I'm going to skip the part where I still love the way your humor works in your story and how I would save the page so I can get back to it when I want to lift my heart.

After I've read 'Time and a Half' I totally finally gave up questioning Vinyl's seemingly stupid reasonings. She thinks unconventionally- almost in an annoying level, in your story but in the end I would be the one looking stupid because she has a point after all when she backs it up.

And it actually froze me when she said 'idiot' to Minister Peace. I realized I haven't read a single fan fiction where she mocks somepony's stupidity with that word in that particular manner. (It made me blink like the way I gasped when Serpent Superior called Octavia 'probably even dumber than Vinyl' on the final chapter of  VnO Join Cobra.) And the unicorn suddenly seemed seventy five percent wiser to me at that point. But only a fragment of a second. :P

Octavia and Vinyl's together moments are so hilarious, and it amuses me how the silly one surprisingly can make the mood sweeter! :iconpffftchplz::iconnowkiss-plz:

Figuring out who the true villain was crammed my head a bit. :iconjackiechanmemeplz: I was like 'Vinyl you idiot. Yep, you're an idiot, Vinyl. Octavia please slap Vinyl for me. Wait. Vinyl could be right... Oh gosh OCTAVIA, VINYL COULD BE RIGHT STAY AWAY FROM HER! ...But Vinyl could really be just an idiot...' (Later she will use the word 'idiot' which will get to me.) When it was revealed... lolz sure, why not?

The ending part was hilarious! I think Vinyl watches too much T.V. that she incorporates such expectancies to reality. It reminded me of that time she slammed the doors open in the court room during their trial on 'Duel Destiny' because 'in the movies' some savior should appear by then.X

Like the usual, I'm standing by for the next chapter. But this time, I'm going to check on it every now and then to catch it earlier when it comes out.

Nice decision in choosing the title 'queen' instead of 'princess' by the way. Queens are awesome.

Sounds like a plan! :D

I like having Vinyl acting silly and unconventionally - hell, it's where half the humour comes from in the first place - but I worry that it'll make her look TOO dumb, y'know? Like, if she's putting her and Octavia into danger because she's not listening to Octavia or something, doesn't that make her unsympathetic? I generally try to write her as having at least some point to her arguments, but there are times when it becomes really hard to justify why she isn't listening to Octavia...and then there's also the times when she's written as being smart, like in Vinyl and Octavia Machete Their Way Through the Jungle, which just causes further issues...My headcanon is that she is fairly smart and often acts dumb to try and get Octavia to laugh and smile, but then when she's putting them in danger, how does that work? I also need to make sure that when Vinyl's being silly, that Octavia isn't too stern or she'll just look like she has no sense of humour, but she can't just go along with everything Vinyl does otherwise it'll come across as out-of-character...urgh, characterisation is hard.

I was intending for the "idiot" moment to be like, a badass one, if you know what I mean? Like, "You can't stop me! And let me prove it!" <Proceeds to prove it>. Sounds like you enjoyed it, which is always a plus.

It's very interesting with regards to who the villain was; I've had a lot of people tell me that they suspected Minister von Doom because he was so overt in his actions, but since he always had an excuse and he was SO obvious, I'm actually surprised that more people didn't suspect Minister Peace by virtue of her appearing more innocent. As it is, I'm pleased with the way it played out, and I feel like there was just the right amount of assassination attempts and whatnot involved in the whole thing. (If that chapter was any longer I think I would have screamed).

I liked the ending, but I wouldn't blame many people if they thought it was too dumb or a little bit too on-the-nose, y'know? That being said, I got the whole "all washed up" thing from this, which my friends had shown me a few days earlier. I'll admit that I laughed hard enough and liked it enough that when I needed to find a way to end the chapter, I thought, "yep, that'll do!" Although good point on the Duel Destiny thing, I had forgotten about that. I guess Vinyl's trying to be genre savvy over time?

I'll try and contact you as soon as I put out the next chapter, yes? If you don't find that too annoying.

Also, I'm gonna follow you on Tumblr, because I do so like your art.

Hope you're doing well!
Apparently Vinyl is so complicated that the author himself has a trouble solving out this pony's oddity. :D

Yes, I do understand the 'cool catchphrase' intention. Maybe I was so amused by it because I like a serious Vinyl. You can tell I enjoyed it? How??? JK Yes, yes I did enjoy it very very much.

It was tricky to tell which of them was the villain. One's actions were being, yes, too obvious to be the answer but it could also be a trick to allude the readers in removing the suspicion from him. Like reverse psychology. While Peace could have been one of those surprise villains like Hans from Frozen. Although, she had given a big clue when she glanced up the chandelier before it fell. But both of them were suspected by the protagonists, and there are cases where the suspect is not the culprit. The more I tried to figure it, the more unsure I got. In the end I never did arrive to the precise answer.

Don't worry, the closing part was humorous, I assure you. It had a low toned energy without being bland. Besides, isn't the whole arc's ending yet. The curtains of the entire show is much more to be concerned about.

Ah, a notification brought by the author himself is not to be annoyed about! In fact that's a favor! :iconpinkiepiesmileplz::iconthanksplz:

You're 'ask-zot', right? He's hilarious! I'll 'follow' you back. Oh, and I'm not sure when I'm going to post digital stuff on my Tumblr account again though.

Thank you, and I hope likewise! :)
She can be difficult to write, it's just making sure that she doesn't appear too conflicting with her established personality, y'know? Like, I want her to not just be this one note "lol random" character, but writing a character as three-dimensional can be hard...

Ah, whatever, you're clearly having fun with it, and as long as I'm entertaining at least one person, that's better than nothing!

I'm sorta glad that you didn't get the answer beforehand, so it was something of a twist? I figure most people would probably guess that at least one of them were the villain, but hopefully both of them working together was enough of a surprise. I'm glad you caught the foreshadowing with Peace looking at the chandelier - I wasn't sure whether it was too subtle (but I didn't want it to be too obvious either).

If you're fine with it, then sure, I'll send you a message! I got a bit of writer's block and I didn't really feel motivated to write recently, but I did some stuff last night so I'm much more in the mood now. I guess I'll shoot you something on DA or Tumblr?

Yeah, I am Ask Zot. Thanks for the follow! No stress on posting stuff - whenever you update is good enough for me. (And hell, I'd have to be a pretty big jerk to be bothered by you not posting stuff constantly).
Thank you a tonne! Looks amazing!
